Russell Place, 969 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT
Parking in the West Main St. lot is strongly recommended.
Please DO NOT park in the spaces in the upper lots that are designated as reserved.
I-84 Eastbound:
- Take exit 18
- At end of ramp at light take left onto Chase Parkway
- 1st intersection/traffic light: left onto Highland Ave to end
- Take right onto West Main Street (you will now pass our brick building on right)
- Go past Wilson Street, turn right into parking lot on right
- Go up stairs, cross street, use side entrance facing Wilson St.
- * Go down hall (a ramp), through the glass doors, take elevator to the third floor. The conference room, 3D, is down the hall on the right.
I-84 Westbound:
- Take Exit 18
- Bear right off the ramp
- At stop sign take left onto Highland Avenue
- Go down the hill (for .4 miles)
- Take right onto West Main Street (you will go past our brick building on right)
- Go past Wilson Street, turn right into parking lot on right
- Go up stairs, cross street, use side entrance facing Wilson St.
- Follow directions from * above.
Rt. 8 Southbound:
- Exit 34 - Take West Main Street/ Downtown Waterbury exit
- Bear right at end of exit onto West Main Street

- You will see our building- the first brick building on your left
- Park before it in the parking lot just in front of the “Russell Place” sign and just before Wilson Street
- Go up stairs, cross street, use side entrance on Wilson St.
- Follow directions from * above.
From Downtown Waterbury:
- Head West on West Main Street towards Route 8
- Continue straight, past Thomaston Avenue and Hess Gas Station, and go under the highway overpass up West Main Street
- As you go under route 8, you will see our building up ahead - a brick building on your left
- Park before it in the parking lot just in front of the “Russell Place” sign and just before Wilson Street
- Go up stairs, cross street, use side entrance on Wilson St.
- Follow directions from * above.
NOTE:
- Additional parking may also be available by taking left onto Wilson Street which is just beyond the parking lot and parking on the street, or in the parking lot on right which has very limited parking.
Handicapped parking and entrance: please call ahead. We will reserve a space for you.

Take Route 8 North to Exit 45. At the stop sign take a left. Go to the light and take a left. Go eight-tenths of a mile. Look for a large white building on the right. The Northwest Mental Health Authority is located on the third floor.
Route 8 South (Winsted)
Take Route 8 South to Exit 45. At the light take a left. Go five-tenths of a mile. Look for a large white building on the right. The Northwest Mental Health Authority is located on the third floor.
Route 4 (Sharon/Cornwall)
Take Route 4 East through Sharon, Cornwall, Goshen, into Torrington. Once in Torrington, stay on Route 4 East, which becomes Goshen Road, Migeon Avenue, and Elm Street. While on Elm Street, look for Main Street on left. Turn left onto Main Street. Go straight. Take right onto Winsted Road. Look for a large white building on the left. The Northwest Mental Health Authority is located on the third floor.
Route 202 (Litchfield)
Take Route 202 to Torrington to Route 8 North to Exit 45. At the stop sign, take a left. Go to the light and take a left. Go eight-tenths of a mile. Look for large white building on the right. The Northwest Mental Health Authority is located on the third floor.
From New Preston
Can either take Route 45 North to Route 4 East and follow directions above from Sharon/Cornwall, or can take Route 202 through Litchfield to Torrington to Route 8 North and follow directions above from Litchfield.
